Seta River is the only river running from Lake Biwa and it allows children, adults and the whole family to enjoy white water rafting in Shiga prefecture! In first half we practice paddling and have a Teamwork Challenge game atop the raft as we slowly float down stream, approaching the waiting rapids!
Access is very easy from the Kansai area, and it's great for anyone thinking about going on a daytrip!

Please come to the Base Camp at the Seta River by the scheduled time.
※ Registration will commence from 15 minutes before the scheduled meeting time.
All participating guests will fill out the necessary forms and change into
bathers etc. After changing clothes, the equipment to be used on the tour
will be distributed.
When everyone has arrived, our company car will come to pick up everyone and take them to the start point. |

When we arrive at the start point, on the ground we will first explain procedures for safety, how to use the equipment, what to do if you fall out of the raft etc.
If on a River Tour, after the procedure explanations we will play games as we slowly float down river towards the rapids. |

After the rapids, the river basically becomes calm again.
As we repeat the game from earlier, we head towards the finish point.
After the tour has finished, we will take a commemorative photo.
From the finishing area, we will return by car to the gathering place. After changing clothes the group breaks up.

From 9 year to 65 year olds who are healthy in mind and body.
(Those under 18 years old must have the consent of a guardian)
*Important*
Please understand that there are some limitations on participant eligibility. Those whose height is under 175cm and weight is over 100kg may not participate in the tours due to problems related to rescue procedures. Also, those who are pregnant, have health issues, or heart problems should refrain from participating in the tours. |

Participants can rent the BBQ equipment for 500 yen per person.
*Ingredients are not included in this price. There are supermarkets nearby, so ingredients can be sourced locally. Please ask staff the location of the supermarkets on the day.
The price includes a BBQ stove, charcoal, grill, tongs, chopsticks, paper plates, paper cups, chopping board, kitchen knife, water for washing ingredients, table, and chairs.
*Attention*
Drinking before going on a our is not allowed. If you rent a BBQ before your tour, please take due care.
BBQs can be rented from 9:30am.
BBQs may not be rented after the afternoon tour ends.
*BBQs may not be rented on weekends during August or during O-bon. For anyone with plans to use BBQs during these periods, |
