Q1 What is snow speed and snow combo?

The easiest way to describe snow speed is as a kind of body boarding done in snow.

It’s a really exciting extreme winter sport – your face would be only 30cm from

the ground! Snow combo is the combination of snow speed with snow shoe.

  Q2 Is it scary?

Maybe at first, but we promise you that after you’ll start you won’t want to stop!

Q3 I’m scared of running into a tree or a rock

The route was carefully chosen to match the requirements of snow speed and the

guide who is with you is very familiar with this route. As another measure of

safety you will also be required to wear a helmet.

Q4 How do I stop and turn?

Before going out you will learn how to drive it and about safety.

Q5

How do we go up? Do we use a ski lift?

It’s not possible to use snow speed in ski sites because it doesn’t have knifed edges.

We will walk to our destination using snow shoe and then come down with snow speed.

Q6 What will we have for lunch?

Well… it’s a surprise, but we can tell you it would warm you up!

Q7 There are two meeting places on your home page, where should I go?

If you come with your own car you can meet us next to the mountain. If you are using

public transportation, we will pick you up with our car at JR Yamashina station.
